@ReaderJohn Thank you for the helpful reflections. I almost dismissed Miller's article for the same reason before the moral imperative of the conclusion grabbed me. I'm hopeful for the prospect of third parties. I don't know how indicative it is of broader trends but I have a number of friends, who have long rejected third party options, finally coming around.
